A popular investment product, RL360° Quantum offers a flexible and affordable way to save for your future. One of the major draws of this policy is the fact that you can tailor it to meet your precise needs and your approach to risk. Here, we take a look at some of the ways you can adapt Quantum to suit your requirements.

Take your pick between a life assurance or a capital redemption policy

When you apply for this product, you can choose between a capital redemption or a life assurance policy. The capital redemption has no lives assured connected to it and it can remain in force for up to 99 years. The life assurance option can be issued on the basis of either a single life or joint life last death. Note that once the policy has been issued, the basis cannot be altered.

Choose from 7 currencies and a range of payment options

RL360°’s Quantum is available in a total of 7 currencies. These are pound sterling, euro, US dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Japanese yen, Swiss franc and Australian dollar. Your charges will be deducted in the currency you opt for and your policy will be valued in it. You can also take your pick from a variety of payment options, including credit or debit card, standing order and direct debit.

Access a wide range of funds

The product provides you with access to an impressive selection of funds. In fact, you can invest in as many different funds as you wish from a range of UK authorised and international investment schemes. This means that you and your financial advisor will be able to build a portfolio that matches your preferences and your attitude to risk. Whether you want to invest in bonds or equities or you’d like to diversify into specialist sectors like emerging markets, you will be able to find funds that suit.

Amend your premiums

Minimum premiums start from just GBP200 a month for policy terms of 10 years plus and you can amend your premiums further down the line. You can choose to increase your original premium or, once your initial allocation period has come to an end, you can decrease it. Also, after this period has finished you have the option of taking a premium holiday of up to 2 years.

These are just some of the ways that you can adapt the product to ensure it matches your goals. To find out more about your options, you can visit the company’s website.
